Relatives of the newly-deceased (and very wealthy) Buoso Donati gather to bid farewell to their dear family member – and to learn what they each inherited. When they discover that Buoso’s will doesn’t read exactly as they hoped, the family enlists the help of the morally flexible Gianni Schicchi to help them re-write the will.
