Troubadours and storytellers Live from Laurel Canyon are back to celebrate songwriters John Lennon and Harry Nilsson. After the Beatles broke up, Lennon spent 18 months in Los Angeles making music and mischief with his pal, American singer/songwriter Harry Nilsson. Enjoy iconic songs from Lennon and Nilsson’s catalogs and discover the impact they had on each other during this collaborative period Lennon called his “Lost Weekend.”

Join us for a unique evening of live music and narrated stories of some of the most influential songwriters who lived in Laurel Canyon in the mid-60s and 70s. Similar to other legendary rock and roll neighborhoods of the same era like Haight Ashbury in San Fransisco or Greenwich Village in NYC, Laurel Canyon was a community of artists who would forge a new genre of music (Folk Rock) and forever change the look, sound and attitude of American pop music.
