Join oboe professor Andreas Oeste and friends for an afternoon of musical reflection centered on the human experience of being. From Voodoo protective charms to the plainchant of Catholic prayers, each work on the program offers a different perspective on the spiritual lens of our world.

Featuring composers Brett William Dietz, Reena Esmail, and Andre Jolivet, this concert will feature rarely performed works showcasing the oboe and English horn and take the audience on a journey of mindfulness and connectedness aimed at embracing cultural differences while discovering the common ground of our shared human experience.
