With The Barber of Seville, Gioacchino Rossini has written a terrific comedy about cheating and deceit, the desire for freedom and status. A story about daring to stand on your own two feet, breaking with authority, and generally trusting in love as a guiding star and not being afraid to mess with it a little.

So we're also going to spice it up a bit when we move out of the theater and concert halls and meet the audience. We're letting you experience the dilemmas, the dramas and all the fantastic things that opera can and should do. On the back of a truck, we'll go out onto the streets and alleys, squares and squares and tell all the great stories. With five singers, an actor and three musicians, you'll get The Barber in a different way; an hour of welcoming, family-friendly and accessible opera right where you least expect us.

Barberen

Three mothers step forward and explore the depths and dilemmas of motherhood in a wild, liberating theatrical performance. Together with the audience, they open the door to a flourishing confession room that lays bare the all-consuming, the beautiful, and the maddening aspects of being a mother.

The Performance of MOM

Randers Teater

Damned ideals and euphoric confessions. The Mother Performance is a chaotic montage about motherhood. A theatrical gathering of Anonymous Mothers, where the perfect image cracks.
