The Schubert Society has set out to investigate this when we invite two of Denmark's leading musicians within their respective genres, jazz pianist Carsten Dahl and classical cellist Toke Møldrup, into a room together with young talented classical instrumentalists from the Jacob Gades Legat.

Experience how music arises in the magic of the moment. It requires an effortless, free vocabulary and knowledge of the very essence of music from both musicians, where they become composing musicians and playing composers at the same time.

Hanne Boel and Carsten Dahl come to Bremen Theatre during Copenhagen Jazz Festival
Hanne Boel and Carsten Dahl need no further introduction. They are, in each of their fields, exceptional artists from the very top shelf in Denmark with long careers behind them in pop and jazz.

After recording the highly acclaimed duo album I Think It's Going to Rain from 2010, they have taken a longer break from their collaboration. This summer they reunited with two concerts at Hotel Cecil during the Copenhagen Jazz Festival, and in 2026 they will repeat the success at Bremen Teater.
