There is a true world star on the program when we present a unique concert experience with the world-famous trumpeter Håkan Hardenberger, who will perform as both soloist and conductor this evening.


With a career spanning four decades, Hardenberger is known as one of the most prominent and innovative trumpet players in the world. He has collaborated with some of the greatest orchestras, including the Berlin Philharmonic, the Vienna Philharmonic and the Concertgebouw Orchestra, and he continues to set new standards for what can be achieved with the trumpet. This evening, Hardenberger presents, among other things, one of the greatest classics of trumpet literature, Haydn's Trumpet Concerto, which with its elegant melody and virtuoso challenges is a work that truly shows the many facets of the instrument.
