In the two performances of Johann Sebastian Bach's St. John Passion, Sebastian Myrus will take over the role of Pilate from Geoffroy Buffière, who will sing in the ensemble.

The traditional Christmas concert with the Southern Jutland Symphony Orchestra, Philharmonic Choir and Handel's immortal oratorio Messiah is of course also on the program in 2025.


A masterpiece that has thrilled audiences for more than 280 years. The concert is a regular part of the Christmas celebrations in the southern Jutland countryside and is played every other year – a traditional event that both musicians and audiences look forward to with great joy. One of the absolute highlights of the concert is the magnificent Hallelujah choir, which fills concert halls and churches with an almost otherworldly energy.
