At 18, Muna falls in love with the aloof Magnus during an internship at the local newspaper in her East German hometown. After a night together, he vanishes without a trace. She leaves the city, determinedly fights her way into the world, studies, and forges new relationships. But Magnus remains her most important inner anchor. Seven years later, the two meet again by chance, and it seems as if Muna has finally found her place in the world. Soon, however, the first cracks appear in this "idyllic" existence, and coldness and violence begin to define their relationship. But Muna continues to fight...
