To open the 2025 opera season, Clermont Auvergne Opéra invites you to an exceptional recital in the intimate setting of the Chapelle des Cordeliers.

Chloé Jacob, a soprano from Auvergne who trained in Clermont-Ferrand with Viviane Durand, and pianist Ivan Foucher combine their talents in a powerful and evocative Russian program. Between folk-inspired melodies and pieces of dark and majestic poetry, their interpretation explores the torments of the human soul in the heart of the steppe and misty forests of Imperial Russia.

With this free evening opening the season, Clermont Auvergne Opéra reaffirms its commitment to making lyrical art accessible to all, by celebrating the great musical pages that shape our collective memory.
