Vocalist

The Jens Fisker Quartet is built around Danish guitarist and composer Jens Fisker, originally from the coastal town of Lønstrup in North Jutland. His musical language bears clear traces of the landscape that shaped him: the horizon, the light, the stillness and the raw movement of the North Sea. The quartet is made up of carefully chosen musicians from the period when Fisker explored the Berlin jazz scene. There he found the voices that today form the core of the project: musicians with presence, maturity and a shared understanding of form, sound and openness. In 2025, Jens Fisker was selected by JazzDanmark to represent Denmark at the Danish Clubnight at Jazzahead in Bremen, which generated new international attention and momentum around the project. The music is modern, melodic and alive, built on an interplay that is both intense and attentive to listening. It takes its place without shouting and meets the audience with calm, clarity and an expression that insists on presence. This is not background jazz; it is music meant to be felt. Admission: DKK 150 / members DKK 75
