For anyone who wants to delve deeper into Lohengrin : In lectures with images and sound examples, Sven Friedrich (Director of the Richard Wagner Museum Bayreuth) and Ulrike Kienzle (musicologist, Frankfurt am Main) will explore the musical and philosophical background of the opera. In a subsequent panel discussion, Lohengrin singer Maximilian Schmitt and voice experts Francesco Greco (Hanover State Opera) and Paul Weigold (HMTMH Hanover / Bayreuth) moderated by Ann-Christine Mecke will discuss the vocal challenges of Lohengrin .
