An engineer reflects on the challenges of modern existence—on waking up every day in a society where even the sky belongs to Google and armed conflicts are part of everyday life. However, as long as they don't affect one's own neighborhood, one's own city, or possibly even one's own country, they disappear from the flickering attention after two days. And let's be honest: If you don't even know the flags of the affected countries to post them in solidarity, it can't be that bad, can it?! Between horror and humor, Sibylle Berg, one of the most well-known authors and playwrights in the German-speaking world, explores the seemingly dystopian depths of our present. This engineer is played by actress Katja Riemann, a long-time artistic collaborator of author Sibylle Berg, who previously appeared in her successful play "Und sicher ist mit mir die Welt verschwunden" (And Surely the World Has Disappeared with Me) at the Gorki Theater in Berlin.
