Festive favorites like Corelli’s Christmas Concerto and J.S. Bach’s third Brandenburg Concerto mingle with rare gems like Neruda’s Trumpet Concerto, creating a blizzard of music that delivers audiences to the hushed, wintry soundscape of Copland’s Quiet City. Hope and Vary close out the program with a medley of popular holiday tunes certain to bring glad tidings and good cheer.

Jean Sibelius’ first symphony is one of the most romantic pieces ever written and is one of Maestro Murray’s personal favorites. You will love this idyllic, musical gem that explores the entire palette of sounds that a symphony orchestra can create! Soloist Jesse Barrett, a true virtuoso on the oboe, will charm audiences with his melodic interpretation of Mozart’s Concerto for Oboe.
