Matej Dzido exudes pure joie de vivre as he flies across the keys with nimble fingers, blending familiar classical melodies with fiery Latin American rhythms and jazzy variations. In his virtuoso original arrangements, Beethoven's Für Elise, Mozart's Alla Turca, and other famous pieces of classical piano literature come alive in a spirited Latin jazz guise. The young Salzburg-based artist's unique concert program is also peppered with original piano pieces by Latin American composers rarely heard on stage. An evening full of musical surprises!
