This is one of the reasons why the chamber music series of the Mainz Philharmonic State Orchestra have been a fixture in Mainz's musical life for many years and a key concern of the orchestra's members. Full of anticipation, various ensembles gather together, lovingly conceive their programs, and meticulously prepare for these highly esteemed performances.
