When music laughs, Mozart's spirit lives on forever. Musical satire was a celebration of exuberance in the High Baroque and Viennese Classical periods. When the  featured artist of the 2025/26 season, the Salzburg-based ensemble BachWerkVokal under Gordon Safari, performs Rathgeber's ribald Quodlibets, Haydn's ambiguous vocal quartets, Bach's over-the-top music, and Mozart's mischievous canons, you can feel how his laughter transcends time. One of the funniest and most unusual concert evenings of the season with the award-winning ensemble for historical laughter and performance practice.
