Following a world premiere hailed as "explosive" by the press, harpsichordist Jean Rondeau and percussionist Tancrède Kummer reunite on the stage of the Dortmund Konzerthaus to perform their collaborative creation UNDR once again. Inspired by Bach's groundbreaking "Goldberg Variations," the project follows a similar linear structure and then moves into a sound world far removed from the original variations. Accompanied by the spoken words of Valère Novarina, Shura Rusanova, and Ezra Pound, UNDR is a complex but highly rewarding listening experience, highlighting the introspective and improvisational approach of its creators.
