Grammy–winning virtuoso Yefim Bronfman performs one of the most expansive and ambitious compositions for piano with a “marvel of digital dexterity, warmly romantic sentiment, and jaw-dropping bravura” (Chicago Tribune). Fanfares of fate follow as Dima Slobodeniouk conducts Tchaikovsky’s explosive Symphony No. 4—an evolution of wistful poetry to optimism and ultimately, renewed love of life.
