Beethoven's 9th Symphony has become a symbol - it is the EU anthem, it was played under the Brandenburg Gate at the fall of the Wall, it symbolizes freedom, love and brotherhood. It is the music that continues to comfort us through the centuries. The symphony will be 200 years old in 2024, and at the Odense Symphony Orchestra we are celebrating the round year together with the Royal Opera Chorus and our chief conductor Pierre Bleuse.
