The Rolling Stones have dominated Rock ’n’ Roll music since the 1960s and were at the forefront of the British Invasion of bands that conquered the US in 1964. They ran neck and neck with The Beatles in the popularity stakes with the late sixties and early seventies considered by many as their Golden Age.

This is a fundraiser for Weldmar Hospicecare in memory of Denise Harrison-Nash. Weldmar Hospicecare is a charity funded almost entirely by donations. They carry out vital work both in the community and at their in-patient unit for people with life limiting conditions. Denise was exceptionally well looked after in her final days. Denise was no stranger to the Ocean Room as she sang there many times in the 70’s with the All Stars. In recent times she sang with both Ben Waters and Dave Kelly and the family are delighted they have both agreed to perform at this concert.
