Christmas concert

Arcangelo Corelli's Christmas concert is as much a part of the festivities as cookies and candlelight. It consists of six contrasting, short movements, of which the last movement, the "Pastorale", is particularly catchy: it is easy to imagine that the shepherds played the catchy lullaby in 12/8 time as a serenade for the sleeping Christ Child, while the Star of Bethlehem illuminated the scene.
