In October, the Frankfurt hr Symphony Orchestra will go on a major tour of Japan. This is the orchestra's twelfth concert tour to Japan in its history and the first with chief conductor Alain Altingolu. A total of seven concerts in large cities such as Tokyo and Osaka are on the program - three concert appearances in the famous Suntory Hall Tokyo alone.
