afterbirth is a multidisciplinary performance that uses experimental live sound, contemporary dance, and meditation to remember the day of our birth. Projected images of lush pastel sky scapes and blue bodies of water accompany Kait as she performs this prayer to remember. Inspired by the artist’s intense desire to belong and connect, Kait guides the audience through a ritual filled with fake magic and sweet memories.
