Originally from Dakar, Senegal, ILAM , through his Fulani roots, offers a style inspired by both Sahel blues and Afro-poprock with accents of reggae and soul. Thanks to his meteoric rise on the Canadian music scene and his first album, Hope, ILAM was crowned Radio-Canada World Music Revelation 2016-2017. A Canadian tour takes him from east to west, then to Africa and China. ILAM continues his tour of the NÉNÉ show and is preparing a new album for 2025.
