America's most bizarre family is back with a new story: The Addamses live a anything but ordinary life in their house in Central Park, full of darkness, pain, and death. But that could soon change: Wednesday, the family's daughter, has grown up and falls in love with a handsome, intelligent young man from a respectable family - a man the likes of which her parents have never met before. As if that weren't bad enough, Wednesday lets her father in on her secret and begs him not to tell her mother. Now Gomez Addams has to do something he's never done before - keep a secret from his beloved wife Morticia. Together they turn the house completely upside down and open the doors to happiness. But with so many protégés, there's naturally no money left for the rent. Growing up in poverty, their mother sends them into the forest to pick berries out of necessity. There they meet not only the Sand Men and the Dew Men, but also the witch who has sent shivers down the spines of countless children.
