Because of its sonic charm, the recorder was often called Flauto dolce in the Baroque period. Maurice Steger is an eminent virtuoso of this instrument and a captivating musician who can be experienced in a colorful, varied program with late-romantic, luscious works for strings and solo concertos for recorder.
