Did Gershwin write any ragtime music? Did Scott Joplin write anything but ragtime? Join Juilliard trained pianist Beth Sussman for a program featuring music by George Gershwin as well as jazz and classical selections by Black composers including Duke Ellington, Scott Joplin, Florence Price and Nathaniel Dett. Beth will introduce selections with brief (and hopefully witty) remarks.
