The Theaterfoyer e. V. campaign was founded in January 1973, three months after the opening of the new Darmstadt City Theater, and was intended to help Darmstadt audiences overcome their fear of entering the much larger theater building. Since then, the association has filled our foyer with morning pints, film screenings, chamber music concerts, and musical afternoons.
