More details
Algiers, summer 2018. Salim Djaferi enters a bookstore. Determined to fill in his gaps on colonization, he looks for the section devoted to the Algerian War. But there is none. The works in question are in the "Revolution" section. Realizing the weight of words, he then embarks on a linguistic investigation that touches on the essence of colonialism. And in the process dissects the thorny chapter of the French occupation in Algeria.
