In Giulia Giammona's theatre, elements of opera, drama and dance are combined to create visually powerful narratives. From 2017 to 2019, she was director at the Bavarian State Opera, where she showed her first own directing work as part of the festival workshop. She is now completing her directing studies at the Mozarteum Salzburg with a production at the Wiesbaden State Theatre. It will be an interdisciplinary musical work, inspired by a mythological female figure: Judith.
