The grandson and last professional musician of the Strauss dynasty, Eduard Strauss II, revived the idea of the family orchestra by founding the Vienna Johann Strauss Orchestra. Since then, the orchestra has performed all over the world, presenting the works of the Strauss dynasty - above all the celebratory melodies of their artistic ancestors, the two "Waltz Kings", Johann Strauss (father) and Johann Strauss (son).
