ZZ Ward is an L.A. based singer-songwriter with deep roots in the blues rock scene. Her 2012 debut single, “Put The Gun Down” broke into the AAA Radio Charts Top 10 and remained there for 10 weeks. ZZ’s sophomore album, The Storm, peaked at Number 1 on the Billboard Blues Chart, highlighted by collaboration with Gary Clark Jr., “Ride.” Since becoming a mother, her new music is her truest and most blues-infused to date. Her upcoming EP features renditions of ZZ’s favorite blues standards, muddied-up versions of her well-known tracks, and has been called “a blues liberation.”
