Making her debut with the SPCO is Russian-born violinist Alina Ibragimova. Performing music from Baroque to new commissions, on both modern and period instruments, Ibragimova plays with an “immediacy and honesty” that has the “ability to collapse any sense of distance between performer and listener” (Guardian UK). It is guaranteed that Ibragimova’s interpretation of Ludwig van Beethoven’s masterpiece will be fresh and unique.
