Jazz vocalist and composer Rei Shimamura presents some of her favorite tunes, including jazz standards, Brazilian music, bebop tunes, and songs from her favorite modern jazz composers like Kenny Wheeler, Fred Hersch, Wayne Shorter, and Chick Corea, as well as her own compositions. Alongside a talented ensemble, she will share her voice through her compositions, inspired by the sounds she discovers on earth.
