For many years, the man with the red trombone dreamed of celebrating a musical Christmas in the company of good friends and with a selection of very different Christmas carols that he had encountered over the course of his career. In 2006 the time had come, and because "Christmas With My Friends" was soon considered by fans and critics alike to be one of the most beautiful Christmas records ever recorded, several editions have since been produced. This format now also takes place with great regularity at the Rheingau Music Festival and attracts not only true jazz fans, but a broad audience during Advent to the beautiful Kurhaus Wiesbaden. With his musical confidants Jonas Knutsson, Johan Norberg, Clas Lassbo and the four singers Ida Sand, Sharon Dyall, Jessica Pilnäs and Jeanette Köhn, Nils Landgren ventures into traditional songs and cover versions of exquisite Christmas carols in this concert.

Lars Redlich – the Thermomix of cabaret artists: He sings, swings, jumps from soprano arias to hip hop, plays the rocker, the diva, pulls out the clarinet for a klezmer number, rewrites the lyrics of hits like "Mandy" and "Ladies' Night," and launches a two-hour frontal assault on the funny bone. His own songs demonstrate imagination and brilliant humor, such as the song about "George, the single sock" who loses his partner in 60-degree heat. The award-winning musical star, who has appeared in "Grease," "The Rocky Horror Show," and "Disney in Concert," among others, pokes fun at himself, improvising a medley of shouted songs on the piano with the audience, and parodies big hits to perfection. "Lars But Not Least!" is a unique combination of show, intelligent comedy and musical cabaret that hardly gives the audience time to breathe.
