Dresdner Musikfestspiele

The third edition of the »International Piano Competition Carl Maria von Weber« took place from October 6 to 13, 2024 at the Saxonian State School of Music in Dresden. This competition offers young talents an international platform to meet others, present themselves, learn from one another and compare themselves with their peers. The participants thus have the opportunity to gather unique experiences for their artistic development, and for many of them, this competition is a milestone of their early career. An important element and the crowning of the event is the concert of the prize winners at the Dresdner Musikfestspiele, which has now become a tradition, lending the competition a brilliant finale.
