An evening of daring adventures, mythical creatures, sorcery, and romance: the NSO conjures an intoxicating Mediterranean dreamscape with Ravel’s ballet Daphnis et Chloé! Simon Trpčeski, who “looks set to dominate the piano world for a long time to come” (London Times), joins the orchestra for Saint-Saëns’s tender Piano Concerto No. 2.
