Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's great Divertimento is an absolutely exceptional work, a string trio that can only be compared to his greatest string quartets. Johannes Brahms long intended to conclude his oeuvre with the G major String Quintet, which incorporated themes from a planned 5th Symphony.
