The OM concludes its journey through Sibelius’s work with a performance of the Finnish composer’s last two symphonies. Since beginning this cycle in 2018, Yannick Nézet-Séguin and OM musicians have explored Sibelius’s musical landscapes and forged a profound connection with his universe. This concert offers an opportunity to reflect on Sibelius’s legacy and influence on the language of symphonic music.
