The evening's Magnum Opus concert sees us perform three new chamber concertos by composers whose careers are just taking off, written for Britten Sinfonia and soloists Patricia Auchterlonie (soprano), Clare Hammond (piano), and Collin Shay (countertenor). Composers George Stevenson, Leoni King and Michael Betteridge have received advice and mentoring across a full year from Programme Directors Huw Watkins and Cheryl Frances-Hoad.
