Frank Peter Zimmermann is as ageless as his interpretations. Even at 30, he was considered a world-renowned violinist with a clear, tradition-conscious compass. Born in Duisburg, he maintains contact with the region and its musicians to this day. He has deliberately and successfully structured his annual repertoire to ensure he can continue to learn. We're celebrating his 60th birthday with Brahms, Strauss, and a conducting debut.
