Giltburg with Rachmaninov

Sergei Rachmaninov's First Piano Sonata, created in Dresden, is one of the great works he composed in our city. He was inspired by Goethe's "Faust" and assigned one of the main characters to each of the three movements: Faust, Gretchen, and Mephisto.
