Among, the brass instruments, the trumpet has a uniquely brilliant sound that immediately grabs the listener’s attention. Our principal trumpeter, James Sims, will demonstrate the instrument’s unique quality in the short but challenging Concerto in E-flat by Franz Joseph Haydn.
