Evening at McLeod will tell the story of Mr. William Dawson and his powerful transition from slavery to freedom to military service, accompanied by selections from the Charleston Symphony Brass Ensemble. The event will also offer drinks, light hors d’oeuvres from Carolima’s Lowcountry Cuisine, and feature local African American artists.
