Schubert slipped a double bass into his Quintet for piano and strings "The Trout" : no doubt to give more warmth and bonhomie to these 40 minutes filled with energy and gaiety, composed at the request of an amateur musician. The musicians of the National reunite with Alice Sara Ott, then branch off, as a quartet, into the otherwise tense world of the Polish Grażyna Bacewicz.
