Women in Jazz

Celebrated Bay Area jazz pianist and educator Tammy Hall will lead through a history of women in jazz, and we’ll take a closer look at the music of women jazz composers and instrumentalists to be presented by ARTEMIS in their student matinee. Through deep listening to key recordings and interactive exercises, Tammy will introduce engaging activities for you to share with your classroom.
