Sitting beside her are Yefim Bronfman on piano and Pablo Ferrández on cello; both are long-time chamber music partners and friends of the top violinist, yet they couldn't be more different. But what undoubtedly unites them all is their unconditional devotion to music. Age, education, background, or gender are irrelevant when three exceptional musicians meet as equals. Tchaikovsky's magnificent homage to his late friend and mentor Nikolai Rubinstein, presented as a piano trio, is a showcase for the star trio.
