Víkingur Ólafsson / Piano Recital

Cleverly conceived and unusual programs are Víkingur Ólafsson's trademark. Whether he's bringing Bach into conversation with Kurtág, Debussy with Rameau—or simply spending a whole season playing exclusively Bach's Goldberg Variations: When the Icelander sits at the piano, you can be sure of discovering new things and hearing familiar things in a completely new way.
