In Christian Fennesz's music, time seems to stand still and space dissolve. Since the 1990s, the musician has shaped the electronic music scene in Austria and far beyond. He creates his complex, multi-layered ambient sounds around the guitar. Often distorted beyond recognition, the instrument is Fennesz's trademark and unique selling point.
