Good Friday, one of the most important Christian holidays, will be celebrated with early music luminary Jordi Savall and his ensemble Concert des Nations, performing two expressive Passion oratorios that could not be more impressive in any cathedral. Though fundamentally different in character and genesis, the works of Haydn and Beethoven are united by their immediately moving music and the Easter message.
